Swimming Pool Area at Leyte Park Resort
The pool area was so relaxing. We paid about 120 pesos per head for the pool entrance and 70 pesos (chicken inasal with rice). It was rounded and at the very center was the deepest point, let’s say around 7 feet. I took the plunge and the coolness of the water reminded me of how I actually made the right decision. As I was on one edge of the pool I could not miss how beautiful this part of the world is. Cottages and Suites on one side of the resort, and the sea just in-front of the pool. Yehey ! A perfect place for a vacation!
Leyte Park Resort in Tacloban City
After taking photos at Leyte Provincial Capitol. Cha and I had a great dinner at Leyte Park, walking distance from the Capitol. Ayos daming mga bars at mas maganda ang night life!
The Resort is now a major tourism & convention complex with its 6 hectare parkland nestled on a hill overlooking beautiful San Pedro Bay. It exudes the distinctive luxury of a hotel & the ambiance of a resort!

The Amazing Construction of Leyte Provincial Capitol Building
I was amazed with the construction of the building. A walking distance from Tacloban City Hall and Leyte Park.
As per the Staff & employees, it's construction of the Capitol started in 1917 during the administration of Governor Salvador K. Demetrio, completed and inaugurated in 1924 during the administration of Governor Honorio Lopez. The original edifice was renovated, expanded and beautified 40 years after upon assumption to office of Governor Norberto B. Romualdez, Jr. in 1964.
