Century Old Kalibo Cathedral in Aklan

Don't forget to visit the Sto. Nino Shrine on the right side of the church to make a wish! Kalibo Cathedral is on the center of the town which nearly located the Provincial Capitol & public plaza. Every second week of January when it hosts the Ati-Atihan Festival, the grandest street party in entire Philippines. Devotees nowadays participate in the street dancing, novena and masses or fall in line at the century-old Kalibo Cathedral, with Kalibo Bishop Jose Corazon Tala-oc .The Kalibo Cathedral should ideally be your next stop over on your Kalibo or Boracay tours. The similarity is the architecture gives the impression that Kalibo Cathedral and Museo.

Batan Aklan Beaches

Batan is a 4th class municipality in the province of AklanPhilippines. According to the 2007 National Statistics Office recorded population, Batan has a population of 29,243 people in 6,422 households.
