Island of Malalison White Beach Resort in Antique

Looking for White Beach in the Island of Antique? Malalison Island White Beach in Antique (also known as Mararison) is one of the three island barangays of Culasi, a progressive town of Antique, Philippines. The island is accessible via a 20 minute pump boat ride from the mainland. For those traveling this route by bus or van from Caticlan (Boracay) or Iloilo City through Antique Province.  A P10 entrance fee is collected for the local guests and P20 for foreigners.A stretch of powdery white sand beaches and crystal clear water comparable to that of Boracay Island. While the beaches on the other side of the island are mostly pebbles similar to Boracay’s Puka Beach.

Culasi Beach Resort in Antique

It has a great wide beach area in the whole province of Antique because of their blue crystal water, clean pebbled beach and coral reefs. You’ll pass through pretty, quiet, small towns with well-kept plazas, churches and schools.  There will be almost no tourist facilities because this area sees so few tourists.  If you stop at one of the towns to buy snacks the Antiqueños will be happy to see you.  The area is beautiful and very attractive if it will be developed as a big resort and accomodation as well.

Culasi in Antique: Roaming Around The Town

I had more fun in Antique because of the people, culture, simple life, great wide beach and peaceful place to live. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 32,998 people in 6,396 households. With an area of 228.56 km² Culasi is one of the cities with a smaller urban area.  This pictures is taken at their Municipal Plaza and Culasi Monument located along the highway. The town is not so crowded,  everyone deserves a relaxing side trip.  I personally wanted to relax in a place with a few people.Culasi is politically subdivided into 44 barangays.  It just behind Mt. Madyaas, one of the highest mountain in Antique. Culasi is approximately 90 kilometers from San Jose de Buenavista, the capital town of Antique and 88 kilometers from Kalibo, the capital of Aklan.

Municipal Hall of Culasi Antique in Western Visayas

My next destination was Culasi, Antique in Western Visayas, neighboring town of Capiz , the town is a back-dropped by Panay’s highest mountains and having beutiful spots and hidden islands. It's about 3 hours travel when you going from Kalibo and 5-6 hours if your going from Iloilo City. Culasi is a third class municipality in the province of Antique which located at the northern portion of the sea-horse shaped province. In the north by the Municipality of Sebaste, on the south by the Municipality of Tibiao, on the west by Cuyo East Pass in the China Sea and on the east by the Municipality of Madalag, Aklan. They have their own festival called Madja-As Festival.

Amazing Noah's Ark in Quezon Province

For this trip to Quezon Province, it will be done at Noah's Ark in Quezon Province. Noah's Ark is really a building with an exterior made to resemble the ancient boat where Noah's family took refuge from the Great Flood along with pairs of animals. It is not a museum nor a gallery for art exhibits and most of all, there’s no carnival inside of it though it is surrounded by life sized animal statues that makes it a tourist spot. This Noah’s Ark is incredibly built for spiritual healing place where retreats can be held.
