The Tacloban City Hall is located atop Kanhuraw Hill, overviewing Tacloban City, Cancabato Bay, San Pedro Bay, San Juanico Strait, Cataisan Point and Samar Island. It was also surrounded by Philippine-Japanese peace memorial markers. It is the seat of the city government of Tacloban since June 12, 1952. The City Hall have landscaped gardens with concrete tables and chairs.

Sto.Niño Church de Tacloban City - February 04, 2012

Cha and I decided to attend a mass at Sto.Niño Church de Tacloban. before we check in at Leyte Park Hotel.


 Santo Niño Church also known as the Church of Liberation is located at the corner of Real and Zamora Streets.

People’s Center and Library,Tacloban City

Along Real street is the People’s Center and Library. It house volumes of books from the

US, Europe and other countries. It is often visited by local students as well as researchers

coming from other parts of the Philippines.

Santo Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum, Tacloban City

OPENING HOURS: Open daily from 8am to 4 pm. Entrance fee: 200 pesos (for a group of 5 pesrson)
