How to get to Marinduque Hot Springs & Resort

There are 3 ways:

Via Plane: Take a Zest Airways flight from Manila (45 minutes) and a jeepney ride from the airport going to the resort located at Brgy Malbog, Buenavista (about 30 minutes)

Via Car: From Manila, drive 3-4 hours to the port area of Lucena, Quezon and take a RoRo (4 hours) or fastcraft (45 hours) to Boac River, then car or ride of 30 mins to Brgy Malbog Buenavista Marinduque where the resort is located.

Via Bus: Take Jacliner or RRCG (from Cubao or Buendia) for about 8-10 hours.

Accomodations are available so with a conference area, both set amidst an orchard of softwood trees. Located about 300 meters away from Malbog Sulfur Springs. The resort where you can relax in a real pool of Hot Spring water.There are picnic houses and tree houses for dining, cottages with private pools, air-con rooms, function rooms as well as picnic and camping grounds. Historical Landmark: Marinduque Provincial Capitol Building

It is located beside the Marinduque National High School and Marinduque Provincial Hospital. Another national landmark is Marinduque Provincial Capitol, located in Brgy. Santo, Boac Marinduque , is highly maintained the peaceful and orderly situation of the province. Marinduqueños are of Tagalog origin and speak Tagalog. But the Tagalog spoken in the province is an old variation of the language that is very close to the way Tagalog. Marinduqueños are said to be very hospitable in nature and are very welcoming.

Dr. Damian Reyes Memorial Hospital (formerly Marinduque Provincial Hospital) Contact Number 332-1621. The Provincial Health Office is primarily responsible for the delivery of basic health services in every corner of the province including the supervision of all the Municipal Health Offices as well as the devolved hospitals. Proof of this mandate is the existence of several hospitals, health centers and medical clinics strategically situated in the different municipalities. Presently, there are three (3) government owned hospitals in the province namely the Marinduque Provincial Hospital now Damian Reyes Memorial Hospital in Boac; Sta. Cruz District Hospital and Torrijos Community.

Sister Convent at the side of Boac Cathedral in Marinduque 2012

The most interesting thing in Boac Marinduque is the old fortified church and convento at the side of the Church. The Boac Cathedral stands at the top of a hill as seems guarding the whole of Boac.
